Carey Newton

I am originally from Old Forge, NY and a 2000 graduate from SUNY Oswego with a BS in Business Administration.  I have experience in marketing and finance holding positions the London Tourist Board and Convention Bureau in London, England, as well as the Audience Development Manager with the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra.  From there on, I was given the opportunity to enter the Mortgage Industry in 2002 and haven’t looked back!

I started my career in mortgages as an assistant to learn the basics of the industry and was fortunate to work hands on with processors and underwriters.  The position was an amazing experience as I was given the opportunity to learn the business while working with the high producing originators in a very fast paced environment.  I then decided to take a chance and go out on my own where I have been fortunate enough to meet the most amazing referral partners as well as clients.

In 2007, I joined Home Funding Finders, Inc as a Mortgage Consultant and have met with immediate success.  I continue to hold in high regard my integrity, compassion and dedication to my clients as well as tenacity and “outside the box” thinking.  I emphasize the fact that I am a consultant and work with my clients to find the perfect program to suit their financial needs.  I work with a wide variety of customers-from first time homebuyers to clients building their dream home, all of which require attention to detail and constant availability to ensure the transaction is smooth and worry free!
